An action group comprising Save Rook Farm, Hayling Island Residents’ Association, Save Our Island and Hayling Councillors has been formed and believe they have a strong case against this development, based on issues including flooding, traffic, infrastructure, Brent Geese and the environment.

Most unusually for a community group, the Planning Inspector has granted a full Rule 6 representation in the Public Inquiry. But this means they have to engage a top barrister, the best legal advice and expert witnesses – and need to raise £30-40k urgently to fight off Barratt Homes.
