Book Swap in the Hall
The books are replenished from donations and are for community use so you can find a book you’d like to read or donate one you’ve enjoyed. Children are very welcome and there is a selection of books for them too.

The Phone Box
Since the Phone Box was decommissioned it has been owned and maintained by North East Hayling Residents Association.

In 2010 John Griffiths took on the task of restoring our phone box, or as he would have said “K6 Jubilee telephone kiosk”….read more.
From this time and until the winter of 2014/15 it was a decorative asset to the village but had no other purpose, it was therefore decided to use it as a visitor information centre. This was achieved with no permanent alterations to the kiosk itself and since April 2015 it has been a popular and useful source of local information to both residents and visitors alike.

The Phone Box’s evolution continued in 2024 when under Chris Emery’s watch it became our very popular Northney Book Exchange. Our thanks to Angharad Pike for keeping it stocked with a range of titles.
